Privacy policy

MailCertify verifies email addresses. To do that, we need to collect and store a small amount of data. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
- Account information. The email address you use to sign in, plus a record of verifications and credit purchases linked to your account.
- Email addresses you verify. Single addresses you check, and lists you upload as CSV files for bulk verification.
- Verification results. The deliverable, undeliverable, risky, or unknown verdict we return for each address, along with the supporting details you see in the app.
- Payment information. We do not store card details. Stripe handles payments; we only keep a record of which credit pack you bought and whether the payment succeeded.
- Usage logs. Basic server logs to keep the service running securely and to diagnose problems.
How we use it
- To verify email addresses and show you results.
- To track your credit balance and process purchases.
- To keep the service secure, reliable, and improving.
- To contact you if we need to about your account.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your email lists for marketing. We do not share verification data with anyone except the service providers needed to run MailCertify (e.g., payment processing).
Where your data lives
All data is stored and processed on our infrastructure in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and verification history for as long as you keep your account. Uploaded CSV files and generated result CSVs are deleted automatically after 30 days. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing us.
Cookies
We use only the cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in and secure. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date above. For significant changes, we will email you at the address on your account.
